The Wiggen's Travels
Our travels around the world.

The galapacos is a great place for wildlife. I will post pictures at the end of the week but I also had an amazing snorkel trip.

We left our boat on a dingy and headed to the snorkel spot. On the way we passed 4 manta rays swimming around. I of course jumped in. I was swimming with then for a few min before anyone else quite realized what was going on and joined me (and scared them away).

We then did a drift snorkel where we saw tons of fish, turtles, white tipped reef sharks, sting rays, sea lions and to top it off 3 more manta rays on the way back to the boat.

The next day we swam with penguins.

I would like to return and do some diving. There are hammerheads in the area and a couple on the plane said the dove with tons of them. Supposedly they also see whale sharks.

Crazy place.
